Location: Castellón On 15 November, the city of Castellón became the epicentre of job opportunities and professional development thanks to the Work Forum, an event that promised to be an open door to employment and the improvement of professional profiles. Organised with the aim of bringing together more than 40 companies with active vacancies, as well as offering talks and job workshops, the Work Forum stood out as a unique opportunity for those seeking new job opportunities or wishing to boost their careers. From early in the morning, the venue filled with the energy and expectations of hundreds of participants, all eager to learn about the possibilities the Work Forum had to offer. The participating companies, from various sectors, set up information stands that attracted visitors with the promise of employment and professional growth. The event stood out not only for the active presence of the companies, but also for the quality of the speakers who shared their experience and knowledge in the talks and workshops scheduled for the day. José Varela Ferrio, Head of Digitalisation at UGT, gave a masterful talk on the importance of digitalisation in today’s working world. His experience and vision enriched the attendees, providing valuable insights into how digital transformation is shaping the future of employment. Jaime López Cossío, Employment and Training Consultant and Director of technical assistance at the Forum of Cities for Employment, shared his experience in managing employment projects at the municipal level and offered practical advice for those looking to stand out in the competitive job market. Silvia Pinto, Consultant and Marketing Professor at the UAM, closed the series of talks with a presentation focused on the importance of personal marketing in the job search. Her motivating talk, full of practical tools, resonated with the participants, who left with a new perspective on how to stand out in an increasingly demanding working world. In addition to the talks, the job workshops gave attendees the opportunity to develop specific skills, from creating an impactful CV to preparing for job interviews.
