In this context, S22 Digital, in collaboration with SEGITURDeveloped the innovative SEGITUR Safe Tourism platform, designed to provide travelers with a reliable, real-time tool for planning their trips.

The SEGITUR Safe Tourism web platform was conceived as a direct response to the need for accurate and up-to-date information in an environment where travel restrictions were changing almost daily. The main objective was to facilitate access to clear and detailed information on:

  • International restrictions: Including entry limits, quarantine requirements, and current health regulations in more than 80 countries worldwide.
  • Regional regulations in Spain: With special attention to the specific measures adopted by the different Autonomous Communities (CCAA), such as curfews, mobility restrictions, and health requirements.
  • Real-time information: Constant updates were a priority, allowing users to access reliable and relevant data every time they consulted the platform.

An Intuitive and Multilingual Tool

Accessibility was a fundamental pillar in the platform’s design. Therefore, SEGITUR Safe Tourism offered its content in five languages ​​(Spanish, English, French, German, and Italian), ensuring that travelers from different parts of the world could easily understand the information provided.

The heart of the tool was an interactive map, which allowed users to explore the restrictions of each country or region simply by clicking on the area of ​​interest. This made the platform an intuitive and visually appealing resource, ideal for people who needed to make quick and well-informed decisions.

The platform stood out not only for its user-friendly design but also for its technological robustness. Among its most notable features were:

  • Automatic, real-time updates, synchronized with international and national databases on COVID-19 regulations.
