Launch of CataProX: A Proximity Suppliers Catalog Connecting Hotels with Local Businesses in Sants-Montjuïc

The Sants-Montjuïc District and Barcelona Activa have launched an innovative digital tool: the Proximity Suppliers Catalog for Hotels in Sants-Montjuïc (CataProX). Developed by S22 Digital, the platform aims to connect hotels and aparthotels in the district with the local business, cooperative, and community ecosystem.

This project was born within the framework of the Sants-Montjuïc Tourism Sector Roundtable, a collaborative space involving hotels, socio-labor organizations, and local government entities. The initiative focuses on three key objectives:

• Fostering local, quality employment
• Promoting proximity-based sourcing
• Activating social initiatives with positive local impact

S22 Digital was the agency responsible for designing and developing the digital platform, which enables direct connection between over 50 hotels and local businesses in the district. The CataProX website, accessible at https://ajuntament.barcelona.cat/sants-montjuic/cataprox/es, allows small companies, shops, and cooperatives in Sants-Montjuïc to easily showcase their products and services through a simple, intuitive, and accessible interface.
