K-Display 2025 is South Korea’s leading display-industry trade show, organised by the Korea Display Industry Association (KDIA). It took place from 7 to 9 August 2025 at COEX in Seoul.

Under the theme “Shaping the Future”, LG Display presented OLED innovations and visual solutions connecting the present with the future. The OLED Heritage zone allowed visitors to explore the company’s technological journey, from its 15-inch panel prototype in 2009 and OLED TV to second-generation developments using a deuterium-based structure, third-generation Micro Lens Array technology, and the fourth-generation Primary RGB Tandem structure.

LG Display also unveiled the world’s fastest OLED monitor: a 27-inch QHD panel with a 540 Hz refresh rate, capable of reaching 720 Hz in HD through Dynamic Frequency & Resolution (DFR) technology. The monitor delivers 99.5% DCI-P3 colour reproduction and peak brightness of 1,500 nits.

Samsung Display, meanwhile, introduced a new range of foldable displays under the MONT FLEX™ brand at K-Display 2025, held from 7 to 9 August at COEX in Seoul.

The name MONT FLEX is inspired by the French word mont (mountain), symbolising the pinnacle of innovation in foldable displays. Each letter represents a key feature of the technology:

  • M — Mechanical Durability: exceptional mechanical durability, withstanding up to 500,000 folds without deterioration.
  • O — Opto-mechanically Flat: a design with minimal crease curvature, reducing the crease’s visibility.
  • N — Narrow Bezels: extremely slim bezels that maximise the usable display area.
  • T — Thin & Lightweight: a thinner profile and lower weight than previous generations.
