S22 Digital organised and coordinated the presence of the Comisión Paritaria Sectorial del Metal (Metal Sector Joint Committee) at Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2025, held on 5 and 6 November 2025 at IFEMA Madrid, a benchmark event for industrial innovation, advanced manufacturing, automation, robotics, digitalisation and new solutions applied to the metalworking sector.
The Committee’s participation in this environment helped reinforce the visibility of professional training as a strategic element for the competitiveness of the metal sector. At a time marked by technological transformation, the incorporation of new production processes and the demand for increasingly qualified profiles, training established itself as a key tool for supporting companies and workers in their adaptation to the new industrial challenges.
The Metal Sector Joint Committee, made up of the most representative business and trade union organisations in the sector, plays a fundamental role in this process. Its functions include understanding the professional training carried out in the sector, setting the criteria and priorities of the sector’s training offer, identifying qualification needs and mediating in any disagreements that may arise between companies and workers regarding training.
As part of Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2025, the Committee was able to bring its work closer to companies, professionals, training bodies and stakeholders linked to the industry. The trade show, which brought together professionals from across the industrial value chain and focused on advanced manufacturing, technology and the transformation of production processes, offered an ideal context for connecting training, employment and innovation.
S22 Digital worked on the organisation, coordination and development of this initiative, helping the Metal Sector Joint Committee’s presence to be coherently integrated into a strategic space for the sector. The aim was to facilitate the dissemination of the available training programmes, highlight the collaboration between business and trade union stakeholders, and reinforce the message that professional qualification is an essential lever for tackling industrial digitalisation, automation, sustainability and the evolution of the metal sector’s professional profiles.
This participation made it possible to give visibility to a particularly relevant training alliance: the one connecting sector institutions, companies, workers and the industrial ecosystem around a common goal — preparing the metal sector for present and future challenges.
Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2025 thus established itself as a meeting space not only to showcase technology and innovation, but also to reflect on the human capital that makes industrial transformation possible.
