The Course for the 20th Anniversary of the Comprehensive Law against Gender-based Violence was held in Cáceres on 17, 18 and 19 September 2025, in an event that brought together institutional representatives, justice professionals, experts in gender-based violence and social groups committed to the fight against this serious violation of rights. The organisation of the event was handled by S22 Digital, which developed a scenographic and technical proposal designed to give the ceremony the solemnity, closeness and symbolic strength that the occasion demanded.

Inauguration and Opening of Debates

The inaugural day began with a welcome ceremony and a keynote address that reviewed the evolution of two decades of applying the Comprehensive Law, highlighting progress in protection, prevention and awareness, as well as the challenges still present. The institutional framework reinforced the relevance of the event, showing the commitment of the justice bodies and public administrations to promoting new public policies against gender-based violence.

Round Tables and Thematic Talks

Over the three days, talks and round tables followed one another, rigorously addressing highly topical issues. Among them were phenomena such as human trafficking, digital violence and the care of victims of sexual violence. A voice was also given to groups particularly affected by different forms of discrimination, which broadened the perspective on how gender-based violence intersects with social, cultural and territorial factors.
