The collective work “The Meaning and Importance of the Rule of Law” was presented at the University CUNEF<\/a>, where a group of experts examines the current state of this fundamental principle in Spain. The authors, Adolfo Men\u00e9ndez, State Attorney before the Court of Auditors, and Juan Jos\u00e9 Torres Fern\u00e1ndez, Chief State Attorney of the Supreme Court, collaborated with Tom\u00e1s Ram\u00f3n Fern\u00e1ndez, Professor of Law, and Daniel Berzosa, Coordinator of Constitutional Law and Fundamental Rights at CUNEF.<\/p>\n

This book analyzes the state of the rule of law in the country and offers proposals to improve the legal system through the use of the courts and available legal avenues. Men\u00e9ndez emphasizes the need to respect the laws, while Torres Fern\u00e1ndez highlights Article 9 of the Constitution, which subjects citizens and authorities to compliance with the law.<\/p>\n
