From the opening, the event demonstrated a framework of rigorous, collaborative dialogue aimed at promoting a responsible, ethical and effective use of technology in schools.<\/p>\n<p>The opening day began with institutional addresses from European Schoolnet and Spain&#8217;s Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, accompanied by strategic messages from the European Commission. These addresses underlined the relevance of the debate on AI and education in the current European context, especially regarding digital rights, teaching competencies and innovation policies. Subsequently, the opening keynote by Olli-Pekka Heinonen introduced a structured reflection on emerging pedagogical challenges, paving the way for the first round tables focused on the impact of AI on students&#8217; rights and on the development of sound educational policies.
