Logro\u00f1o hosted the 20th CLABE Publishers’ Congress on 15, 16 and 17 April, one of the most important events in the publishing and media sector in Spain. A gathering that brought together media directors, publishers, technologists and artificial intelligence experts to discuss the present and future of digital communication.<\/p>\n
At S22 Digital, we were proud to be part of this congress from the very beginning: we designed and developed the event website, and we managed all of its digital communication.<\/p>\n
A programme packed with content<\/strong><\/p>\n Over two intense days, the congress addressed the major topics shaping the sector’s agenda: the role of artificial intelligence in newsrooms, new publishing business models, copyright in the digital age, the creator ecosystem, corporate reputation and the potential of Spanish as a global language in the digital environment.<\/p>\n Thursday the 16th began in Logro\u00f1o with high-level sessions and practical workshops on newsletters, AI applied to CMS, event management and traffic strategies. The closing on Friday the 17th took place at the Refectory of the Monastery of Yuso, in San Mill\u00e1n de la Cogolla, a World Heritage Site, where the Internet Day Manifesto was read and the sector’s proposals for the future were presented.<\/p>\n Among the speakers were leading names such as Francisco Moreno Fern\u00e1ndez (Observatorio Global del Espa\u00f1ol), Rosal\u00eda Lloret (ElDiario.es), Rafael Sarralde (The Conversation), Jorge \u00c1lvarez Naveiro (Dircom) and Borja Adsuara, among many others.<\/p>\n More than a congress<\/strong><\/p>\n The experience was rounded off with a wine and pintxos route along Calle Laurel, a guided tour of the Monastery of Yuso and a closing lunch at Bodegas Campo Viejo.
