It addressed the current state of the Amazigh language, its contemporary challenges, and its connection with the Canary Islands and Melilla.<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1421\">\n<li data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1118\">Meftaha Ameur opened the session with a presentation on the challenges of revitalizing the Amazigh language in the modern world.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1118\">He was followed by Carles M\u00farcia, who offered a critical review of what we know about the ancient Amazigh language.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1118\">Rumen Sosa provided a historical overview of the Amazigh presence in the Canary Islands.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1118\">Mohand Tilmatine explained how, in the case of Melilla, Amazigh is positioned as a European language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1423\" data-end=\"1516\">A final dialogue space allowed for meaningful exchanges between specialists and attendees.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>June 12 | Archaeology and History<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1721\">The day was divided into two sessions.
