Fuerteventura, May 14, 2025 – S22 DIGITAL successfully completed the organization of the FTV 4.0 Youth Congress, held on May 12 and 13 as part of the FDCAN Fuerteventura 2023–2027 program. The agency spearheaded an innovative and tech-driven event model featuring pioneering uses of virtual reality, augmented reality, and an interactive flight simulator.

Focusing on the intersection of technology and tourism, the event brought together professionals from the sector, startups, institutions, and citizens in a cutting-edge format that turned the venue into a true experiential lab. S22 DIGITAL was responsible for the conceptual design, technical production, and full execution of the congress.

Immersive Experiences for the Tourism of the Future

One of the main highlights of the congress was the VR zone, where attendees could enjoy virtual tourism experiences exploring Fuerteventura’s most iconic landscapes. Using next-generation headsets, participants navigated sustainable routes, cultural experiences, and natural landmarks with remarkable realism.

Augmented reality complemented the experience by offering real-time contextual information about tourist sites and resources through mobile devices and tablets, creating a dynamic and educational form of interaction.

Additionally, the event featured a flight simulator, offering virtual flights over the island with integrated topographic data and real-world routes—delivering a completely new perspective on Fuerteventura’s tourism offerings.
